So anyway.

Watching them move the casket from the house to the hearse for the processional, completely not understanding the child (nephew/grandson) in flipflops and shorts. These are Kennedys, do they not have shoes??

I thought it was bad enough that I commented on the flipflops.

I really can't imagine how long these cable networks (cnn, msnbc) can keep repeating the same stories by the same old guests, over and over and over. The coverage seems deadly dull.

Two days later, what else is there to say? Even though he served nearly 47 years in the Senate the most interesting thing about him is still his older brothers.

Well it's two months later and they're still wringing Wacko Jacko's corpse dry. So they can go as long as they want.

Guys, turn off the tv. Please.

I say it out of love for you.

That's weird. On the locked thread you said this:

I've disagreed with the man on nearly every issue. That said, I'm greatly saddened by this news. Because of the family he came from, he was an icon of America from the 1960s right to the end.

RIP, sir. You fought the good fight. We disagreed on just about everything, and your personal failings were pointed out on many occasions. But in passing you take with you a major part of US and World history during my lifetime.

I'm not trying to defend anybody, but O_T stated that the most interesting thing about Kennedy was his brothers. On the locked thread he stated that Kennedy was an icon because of the family he came from...sort of the same thing. To me, anyway.

Yup. That's what I said alright.

If I see another editorial cartoon of Teddy in heaven playing football with Jack and Bobby, I think I might hurl.

Instead of a football they should be playing with Marilyn

I have to say, from this distance a couple of these younger Kennedy men (not the kid with the flipflops) look surprisingly hot.

Is Boom aware you are ogling young Democratic ass?

He'll be flattered. Politics and baseball affiliation aside, Boom could be the missing Kennedy son.

Has anyone been to the JFK Library?
