And, yes, we're all sheep.
I thought we left dress codes behind in high school.

So you can wear jeans if there is flooding or a hurricane?

Good thinking!

Nothing better than a soggy pair of denims.

it makes perfect sense to have a dress code for TV. one reason people tune in to a station is because of what the people look like.

that said, funny **** about defede. i've seen the man. his presence IS powerful

Exempt from most guidelines is the big guy, commentator Jim DeFede. In DeFede's case, Doerr says, clothes do not make the man. DeFede's ''mere presence is more powerful'' than his wardrobe.

So, DeFede gets to skip the tie in favor of guayaberas and camp shirts. He can also wear jeans. ''The big thing they don't want me to do is, no more T-shirts under jackets,'' DeFede says. ``Apparently, I'm just too sexy.''

The station's image consultant also recommended DeFede use a bit of bronzer. Says DeFede: ``I'm still testing them out -- privately.''

Even better from the same link.

FOULED OUT?
Available for $16,000 a month: the building at 3501 S. Dixie Hwy. in Miami that once housed a car wash co-owned by former NBA star Tim Hardaway. Hardaway and partner Cory Mason got evicted for not paying rent, says landlord Antonio A. Fernandez of Bird Road Properties.

The Hardaway team was in arrears before Hardaway got his rear-end in a sling over his ''I hate gay people'' interview on 790 The Ticket last month. Says Fernandez: ``It had nothing to do with the comments that he made.''

Hardaway apologized for his remarks.
