Interesting to say the least ...I can't say I disagree. When you cross the line with anonomyous threats you deserve to be outed.

Kate Gosselin may be a reality star who consciously subjected herself to criticism when she stepped into the spotlight several years ago, but according to one anti-bullying group, what she didn’t sign up for was constant hate-filled threatening cyber attacks.
On Monday, RadarOnline reported that anti-bullying organization BullyVille.com would be publicly revealing the names of several people who have “crossed the line” in demeaning the former “Kate Plus Eight” star, and vowed to contact their employers.
“One employer, quite frankly, was stunned. [We] spoke to their director of HR and they even went directly onto Twitter to see the account in question for themselves,” site founder James McGibney told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “They had absolutely no idea this was occurring and assured us that the employee would be dealt with immediately. Based off of date/time stamps, it became apparent that the employee was conducting this harassment campaign at work.

It's doing things to hurt them so that the do-ers can feel better about themselves. I'll call that bullying.

I've said it before, but a major impact of the internet these days is to help people find targets to be assholes to. If you can find someone who it seems like they deserve it, then you don't even have to feel bad.

Not feeling a whole lot of sympathy for Kate Gosselin. Now if someone devoted a web site to outing prissy little prom queens from conducting their own cyber-bullying campaign on some 16 year old who had the misfortune to cross the cool kids, I'd be all for that.

It's getting harder and harder for people to find and keep a job.

Employers are doing credit checks for people looking for work, how having bad credit is a reflection on your work ethic is a mystery to me, and they also worry about what you say about a pseudo-celebrity on twitter?

If their purpose is to stop cyber-bullying, then I'd say quite a bit.

The point is to communicate the message to trollworld that there can be very real and severe consequences for this ****. Some trolls would shut up in a hurry once they start hearing about folks getting disgraced and fired for doing the same **** they do.

Good rule of thumb: don't send death threats to pseudo-celebrities while you're at work. Companies frown on that sort of thing.

I'm not big on the whole cyber-shaming trend, but the people under attack by the cyber-nannies are assholes.

If you're trolling during work hours then you aren't working. I imagine most employers like to know about that.

I have a lot of downtime at work. I occasionally check Facebook, or read one of my newspaper apps on my phone when I am between assignments. I don't know anyone at any job who works for eight non-stop hours.

A friend of mine who flies for one of the little commuter airlines, I think Shuttle America, told me a pilot is really only in control of a plane for about 35 minutes of a flight.
