Crash Davis returns to Earth after leaving for several years to visit the remains of the planet of his origin.
After Crash's disappearance, Annie Savoy was heartbroken and found comfort in the arms of Nuke Laloosh. Now Annie and Nuke are married and raising their son, who looks oddly familiar to Crash and occassionally exhibits super powers similar to Crash's.

Don't mind the idea of a sequel, but the premise seems bad. Why not just set it in the off-season at a bed and breakfast owned by Crash and Annie while Nuke is sweating out results from the Hall of Fame vote (his last before he has to go to the Veterans Committee)?
