Braves sideline guy gets women’s numbers on air

Sports Journalists Forum – Media, Newsroom & Reporting Talk

A few years ago, 2013 to be exact, the Tigers wives were promoting an auction on what was then Fox Sports Detroit. Rod Allen was talking with Shannon Hogan and out of the blue said: "Hey Shannon, why don't we auction off a date with you." Hogan turned about five different shades but kept her cool and convinced Allen it was a bad idea
Could be worse. He would have asked that the date be in the second deck.

You could have laid book on how quickly "enlightened bros" would come to their bro's defense.

Being regressive might simply be a requirement for admission to the Barves' booth, as part-time broadcaster and former player Jeff Francoeur uncorks a bottle of nonsense. (Also, real rich coming from a guy who complained publicly about being sent down to the minors during his playing career, referring to it as being "betrayed.")
