Not being flip, but it was a matter of time before some kid tried it...
That sucks...

Anyone think a lawsuit is on the horizon, based on this quote?

Perhaps he should file suit against himself for being so stupid as to let his 10-year-old nephew watch it in the first place.

I thought that, too, though I don't think they'll get anywhere.

I mean, they didn't show the hanging.

OK, I'm fed up with this stuff. If you raise a child to think it's OK to hang yourself "because they saw it on the tee-vee!" ... well, I'll let Starman finish my thought.

Maybe. But it would tough for them to win, especially since they didn't show the hanging.

Damn Iraqis should have had a "Kids, don't try this at home" disclaimer.

Exactly. And I still maintain that any person of any age dumb enough to do something like that would simply find another way to hurt, maim or kill themselves if not the method they saw on TV.

I mean, it's just senselessly tragic.

Especially if you feel like I do, that the whole thing was designed to be shown on television.

Not that the parents should sue, or anything. Just said all around.

That would've been some funny stuff. Little line at the bottom of the screen: "Executions are carried out by professionals. No one should attempt them at home."

No doubt it was. The Shiites/Shia ignored the entire civilized world, including The Great Saban. Er, Satan. Saddam basically was lynched.

Anyway, that doesn't excuse this tragic result.

Darwinism?

The kid was 10. Copying an event from thousands of miles away that he saw because satellites beamed it into his home.

I say again, Darwinism?

My post is hereby deleted. Say what you will.

I'm staying out of it.

The kid who eats the most marbles doesn't grow up to have kids of his own.

Unfortunate, but true.

Sounds like he copied him pretty well.

C'mon Moddy. You got mad at people for ripping on Mariotti?

Mariotti is one of us, recovering from heart surgery.
This kid is already gonzo.
But I apologize. Profusely. From the bottom of my heart.
