“During the criminal investigation, evidence was obtained including positive tests for the presence of anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances for Bonds and other athletes,” the indictment read.

That strikes me as being every bit as newsworthy as the fact of him being indicted. Not that we didn't all know it, but was there evidence of an actual positive test out there?

People, people, people.

Barry Bonds will not go to jail. It's just not going to happen. Print this out, frame it, carve it in metal, do whatever.

Barry Bonds will not go to jail. If they can't get OJ for double murder, Barry Bonds is not going to jail for lying.

I would assume they would have to have some evidence for a posititve test to bring an indictment for perjury.

Between this, Vick, Pacman's, Isiah's sexual harrassment case, OJ and probably 10 other stories I can't think of off the top of my head, has anyone benefited more than Roger Cossack. I basically only remember him being on ESPN because of the Kobe thing. Now it seems like he's on every other day.

Roger and Greta Vanwhateverhernameis both got their start in TV during the OJ trial. If they don't get down on their knees and thank God every day for OJ, they should.

Fixed, the Chicago Way.

This is an indictment, which means there is probable cause to believe that a crime was committed, i.e. that he lied. That does not mean that they have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he lied.

I'm pointing this out to show that someone did not "flip." Not Anderson, he's still in jail for contempt. Likely the USAtty is taking a chance based on the test results and the testimony of Kimberly Bell to indict.

Another well-planned out front page ruined by Mr. Potato Head. At least it didn't happen at 11:30 at night this time.

This is pretty damning, if true.
