BC women's hockey player lends teammate her phone, forgets to delete steamy text messages to the head coach and now he is out of a job.
He seems a little sketchy. Likes singing "Like a Virgin" to his team, his wife was a former player of his when he was on the Olympic coaching staff.

This is likely to have serious repercussions on the hockey program at BC. The player in question, Kelli Stack, led her team and the entire Hockey East conference in scoring this season, as a freshman. She's a very talented hockey player - at 19, she's already on the U.S. national team's preliminary roster.

And, before anyone can say TTIUWOP, here's the coach, the player and the coach's wife, in order:

Good job coach, at least in the chick department.
In the cheat-on-your-wife department, you are a cocksucker.

Wow, great teammate there. You lend her your phone, she starts rifling through your personal material. I know the coach must be a louse, but no more so than the person who blew the whistle here.

Hockey East Coach of the Year Tom Mutch, 39, who’s married and whose wife just had a baby, abruptly stepped down hours after the Herald began making inquiries to authorities at the Heights

the Heights?

Exactly.

The award-winning head coach of Boston College’s outstanding women’s hockey team resigned yesterday under the specter of sexual misconduct between him and his teenage goal-scoring machine.

Outstanding? Goal-scoring machine?

Not exactly the best news lead from the Boston Herald.

Double J, that's outstanding work, and how this message board is supposed to be run. You took the time to find the photos that, frankly, are the second best thing about this story (behind knowing what the filthy messages are).

That the wife and the 19 year-old are way attractive are the cherry on top, so to speak.

Hats off, Double J. That's the kind of investigative work that earns Poster of the Year votes come awards time.

I'm guessing that the teammate who borrowed the phone knew exactly what she was doing and wanted to find that smoking gun. If one teammate already asked to be released from her scholarship by BC because she didn't like the relationship, then I'm guessing she wasn't the only one who heard the rumors.

Poin...

Where the hell have you been?

Makes you wonder if the girl who borrowed the phone and blew the whistle had something going with the coach, too...or at least wanted to. There's got to be some motivation there.

The coach is an idiot. Aside from the adultery part, the wife is better looking than the player anyway (though maybe that's just my preference for brunettes).

I'm assuming this is the whistle-blower, putting two and two together after reading the last line of the story:
