Heard about another one today. Then googled the thread title and realized they are becoming a lot more common - maybe its just that everyone has a phone - so video gets posted and I'm guessing they get clicks. But high school, boys and girls, fans, teams, coaches. Anyone seen one live recently? Is it just that they are more publicized now?

My first games as a spectator as a kid were old Eastern League games for our beloved Wilmington Blue Bombers. In that league, any game without a player fight the crowd wanted its money back. None of the fights ever made the paper.

It's funny, I've seen rec soccer games - where people pay to play in leagues - and if the game gets too chippy, or someone mouths off a bit too much - the ref will just end the game.

I figure coaches have almost zero control over players and fans in the things we see video of. Fan misbehavior in hoops seems worse than other sports, for whatever reason, high school, college and pro.

Watch the very start of the brawl. The Trinity kid on the bench did something to the Sto-Rox guy waiting to inbound. If I remember correctly, the guy said Trinity's player was tugging on his shorts.

The star for Sto-Rox, Adam DiMichele (No. 13), later quarterbacked Temple and just finished his first season as Nebraska's offensive analyst. Trinity had Chris Crane, who later quarterbacked Boston College, and Mikey Walker, who started three years in the Penn State backcourt.
