I hear Yahoo may have come up with another "score" from newspapers?
Anyone know anything? Post or PM if you are not in a position to post.

Doing the NASCAR beat, I think.

Actually, here's a question....does anyone look at Yahoo Sports? Like Moddy I am hearing about their hot pursuit of major writers...is there a good reason someone should jump there, other than $$?

The only time I catch their sports page is when I'm going through it to check my fantasy teams. Every now and then I'll check out Passan's column, but at least the effort is there.

As a member of the competition, I must say that I do know quite a few people who frequent Yahoo sports, and they DO have some really good people there.

It's the only sports site I read, besides newspapers.

It's the only sports site I read, besides newspapers.

Is that because you use Yahoo for email, or do you go there specifically for the sports?

I go there specifically for sports. I am sick of ESPN making you pay money to read its good columnists, so I made Yahoo Sports my home page.

I know they broke the Reggie Bush/agent/extra benefits story, and they have some pretty good writers over there.

My RSS picks up baseball news, and Passan and Brown's columns are fed into there. I read them often.

They have added some really good people over the last year or two, including Adrian Wojnarowski on the NBA and Jason Cole on NFL. And, or course, Passan. If you're not checking them out on a regular basis, you're doing yourself a disservice.
