That analogy doesn't work. Using all your troops in Iraq and Afghanistant trying to keep the peace instead of having some of them look for bin Laden -- which we're clearly not doing -- is way different than simply trying to walk and chew gum.
That analogy works only if the person walking/chewing gum has only about three brains cells. Even our dumb politicians aren't hat bad.
