I still only got 249.1. I got the score the same the last 5 throws.

Don't worry about how close you get to the edge of the cliff. Make sure the catapult is going the furthest down that it can, so you are propelling him with full force.

That's more important than getting the catapult to the edge of the cliff.

The trick is in holding it down just a bit longer than you thought you should and starting early (say, at the gap between the first ice mountains).
