[Smallpotatoes]

I don't recall seeing any threads started about this movie, but I saw it tonight and it was pretty good. It definitely had some really good, scary moments, but the end was kind of confusing.
In the beginning I had a little trouble getting into it because somebody brought their 2-year-old to the film. Far be it from me to tell other people how to raise their kids but WTF?

It's the movie with John Cusak and Sammuel L. Jackson that was based on a Stephen King short story about a writer/paranormal debunker who stays in a hotel room where every previous guest died.

My favorite parts: (SPOILERS!!!!)

- When the little boy's talking finger said "REDRUM."

- When the two little twin girls showed up and blood flowed everywhere.

- When John Cusack said "All work and no play makes me a dull boy."

Awesome movie.

It made me think there's going to be a sequel. But I don't know if King wrote one.

Drrrrrrrrraaagggin it up, because I just saw it.

Holy crap. 30 minutes of sheer terror. I don't remember the last time I've been so scared in the theater. I remember jumping once during that Kevin Bacon ghost movie, but I got over it fast. This one, whew, total mind****.

agree on the jumpy parts but the ending was a real letdown.
