I don't understand the McConnell situation. The obfuscation is odd. Hospitalized, unable to make public appearances, but stable enough for wife to head to China on a business trip, and have several 20-minute phone calls? It's just odd. I'm not going to Zapruder the proof of life photo, only to to wonder if it was a fall and required some plastic surgery or swelling to subside before he was somewhat presentable. Or that he's in a rehab facility, maybe he's relearning how to walk after a stroke.
 
Like many, I want to know what took him so long to release something.
Graham's death drove enough of a narrative that they had to do something today. But if he's really alive and doing well, why not a 10-second video?
