Interesting factoid: Since the adoption of the 17th Amendment, exactly 1,000 unique people have been sworn in as US Senators. One of every five of them originally got the job as appointees. More common than I would have guessed.

Graham was in Kyiv on Friday. And he was pushing for sanctions against Russia during that trip.

It would have been more obvious if he’d fallen out of a window, but I suspect something here. And no apparent blood-pressure issues or whatnot; the Disney Adult was just on Space Mountain barely three months ago! 😂

To be fair it is the best ride at Disneyland.

It would be … something … if he was offed knowing he could lose to the doctor in November. Those heart attack guns are real.

How does anybody think they can get away with saying that uniform has "the distinctive cursive lettering of a Red Sox jersey"? If anything, I thought it might be a Yankees spring training jersey. But there ain't no red in there. At least not in the portion visible in the photo of Cocaine Mitch. How can they claim to read the headline?

Red Sox cursive? Unless it's a throwback or a City Connect, they've always had block letters.

There is zero chance this is real. Not after all this time. Not this clearly and healthy looking. He hasn't looked that healthy when not missing in eons.

There are too many ways to doctor things now. Putting today's Washington Post on his lap means nothing. This would also seemingly look like he is at home. No one saw him go back home?

They have to show his face live on TV. Period. But he probably isn't alive, and even if he is, he isn't really in that kind of state.

Nope.
Not buying it.
If this was Biden they’d demand a public appearance and so am I.
Bring em out. Bring em out.
Sucks when it’s on the other foot, doesn’t it.
Exactly. Just a little too smiley-looking. And, you don't see hospital patients in regular clothes until the day they're leaving, so that means they dressed him, probably just to stage the photo.

If he's even actually in as good a shape as this.

And if he is, what, seriously, is the explanation for the cover-up of his real condition -- particularly when people are saying, and reporting, that he's dead or dying? He's a public figure -- a very public figure -- and, given his position, his constituents and the rest of the country have a right to know what's going on once the first few days of urgency are past.

One giant photo and calling it a day for page design? Even when your deadlines were two weeks ago that’s the barest of efforts.
Two wire stories (England WC win and Wimbledon) and two Nats local stories. The Dallas Morning News would've had 3 local columnists weighing in on each on B1 with coverage inside. You decide which is better.
