We had an editor once who wrote a day-in-the life type column about himself. It was set during playoff time and ran about 2k words long. It was unbelievably bad, to the point where our sister papers refused to run it (we usually share most of our work when we need help filling space)...

wow...greatest.picture.ever. and I know plenty of people hate Cowherd/Bayless...but they are nowhere near as bad as watching Woody/Mariotti, as well as whatever two other asshats they have on that day...Reali is the only good thing about that show.

With that quote and who is #1, I have to imagine this list wont be very popular here...

Am I the only one who didn't think the outfit was all that bad (especially for Hannah's standards)? Maybe it's because I don't really consider SC to necessarily be above that kind of thing. If Katie Couric showed up on the evening news with that outfit, I would have a problem with it. But...

I gotta say, I mostly agree with this. I like Simmons (mostly) but his style is a bit much to stomach for 700 pages. Add to that the numerous mistakes and the book doesn't quite meet expectations. Still, at the very least, it's the quickest 700 page read I've ever experienced. Took me a couple...

this is sorta like the headline that is on the ESPN main page right now: "Celtics' Davis curses heckler" had to click on the story to find out it was about Big Baby yelling a curse word, not Big Baby making a voo doo doll...
