I wonder what kind of arguments went on in the jury room that could've resulted in an acquittal in this case.

How could they say/think the officer didn't fail in his duty to confront the gunman -- or to do anything?

The “credibility matters” crowd says the shooter is transgender. I guess that means there’s a larger issue we need to discuss (sarcasm).

A father gunned down his wife and three kids in the stands at a high school hockey tournament in Rhode Island Monday, according to reports — sending the crowd screaming and fleeing for the exits in a panic.

Two people were killed, including a little girl, and three others are in critical condition at a hospital after the gunfire erupted at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket around 2:30 p.m., according to cops.

The shooter is also dead.

He may have not been been charged initially, but I have no doubt a grand jury will get their eyes on
this case, at a minimum for gross negligence for having a loaded gun in a "lockbox" but probably for involuntary manslaughter.

ADD: Oh crap, this happened just up the road from me. Not a ripple in DFW media but plenty in the UK apparently. Bloke got no-billed faster than you can say Jack Robinson.
