Sometimes things keep me up at night. Questions on the meaning of life. And where / how certain words originated.

So, question #1: goatse

I really don't think that had anything to do with goats. ??? WTF.
 
I wonder about 'uncouth' and 'disgruntled.'
Both are modern words, and certainly the latter is in common usage.
But one never hears/sees 'couth' or 'gruntled' used.

And I've never heard of clement weather -- just inclement.
 
OK, the context of the question came up during idle softball practice banter, and yes, beer was involved.
 
I never understood why it's considered wrong to put fag on a cake, unless of course the recipient has lung cancer.
