Woke and shaved - Gillette ad and the people who hate it.

Sports Journalists Forum – Media, Newsroom & Reporting Talk

Think about it. People are upset about Gillette "taking a stand" on toxic masculinity. Suddenly anyone who doesn't buy their stuff is suddenly suspect. I do imagine some brand with marginal market share might start touting itself as "for men who are proud to be a man" - I just don't think it is a long term play.

That's pretty much every damn truck and beer commercial.

The rise of social media means there is always a market for the "anti/opposed" side if you want to make a complete jackass out of yourself. The gillette ad goes viral, morning shows and other talkfests make it a topic and figure they need "both sides" to make even the most harmless thing contentious. Michelle Malkin, Coulter and the various people people Fox books to make liberals look stupid on issues no liberal has a problem with.

With all the market research done by these companies, Joe Caveman should realize they are in the minority on this issue.
