The Washington Wizards enter their 46th NBA season with a vengeance as the team ended last season on a very low note. The team led the Eastern Conference during the All-Star break and had high hopes going into the playoffs. Unfortunately, those hopes turned into sudden shock for the fans as Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler went down with season ending injuries and the Wizards found themselves limping into the playoffs for a first round sweep by the Cavs. The Wizards will come into this season finding gems within draft picks Nick Young, Dominic McGuire and Oleksiy Pecherov and re-signing key players Deshawn Stevenson and Andray Blatche. This ’07-’08 season for the Washington Wizards will mark the 30th anniversary of their first and only NBA championship and while the Wizards have had season success with 3 straight playoff appearances, they hope to celebrate this anniversary with another championship.

Aside from the writing, I'm still trying to get my head around this topic?

Look, I'm one of the few that still love the NBA (it helps my team has LeBron), but I know I would not want to ready a story on the Cavs upcoming schedule.

You have to think of your audience. Who is this serving? Even a die-hard Wizards fans, do they want to know about a game in April complete with predictions?

I just don't understand.

when hockey schedules are announced, they are a huge deal here in toronto, and even quite a bit in buffalo.. people do care.. wanna see when the team matches up against this team or that, or when someone will return to town

People aren't that interested....

And this guy was predicting the results of games to be played in April 2008. I'm not sure how one does that...

didnt see the predicitions.. you likely are right... but I still think theres some merit in the schedule rundown blurb
