I'm so embarrassed for poor Josh Groban.

Happy for Zeljko Ivanek. He's been great in everything for years.

The awards' credibility, for me, was shot to hell when I noticed that SNL was nominated for a comedy writing Emmy.

I did laugh at Ricky Gervais' nice bit, though, especially when he wondered if the Emmy he got from Carrell was "a shoddy knock-off." Hi-larious "Office" shot.

Yeah, and I was so happy that Piven nailed them on it, too. "I could just talk for 12 minutes, but that was the opening..." Right off the bat. My esteem for him jumped up a notch or two.

Somebody let me know when The Wire gets an Emmy.

Until then, boycott will remain in effect.

Holy guano, Batman! Just switched back from the game for Martin Sheen's bit. Didn't realize he never got an Emmy for The West Wing. I repeat -- the Emmys are a sham.

This is painfully bad.

They're cutting off Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks! They let Howie Mandel rattle on about St. Elsewhere (which I loved) but are rushing a legend?

I love Mad Men but its writing was better than The Wire?

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE.

Charlatans...all of them.

The Wire should be trying to cap off an unprecedented 5-for-5 right now...instead it's been ignored.

Respect has been lost that can never be earned back.

That was one of the worst award shows ever. The writing was painful and Heidi Klum couldn't even read the teleprompter. At least Mad Men came away with a win.
