Ok, boyzz and grrrlz, looking for your nominees for the fugliest people in rock and roll history: those who truly have a face or look made for radio. That only a mother could love---maybe.

I'm going to save my best nominee (and certain titleholder of this claim) for a while to see if anyone else comes up with him/her, but I will offer up an early appetizer in one Ronnie James Dio:

Shouldn't just be a Rainbow in the Dark, my friend.

Not just fugly, but a frightenting picture to boot...

There's something about him ... his facial structure is unique and striking, thus rendering him, HOT. ;)

I liken it to Gene Simmons -- there are lots of women who think he's super cute and I just do not see it whatsoever. At all.
So, he's my vote for another fugly rocker:

Damn, Gene looks like Herman Munster there. I guess there's a reason they wore make-up.

And it saddens me to say that my guitar idol from the same band can qualify for this thread as well:

I'll make a deal with you: If Flea ever knocks on my door and says he's lonely for the night -- or a week -- I'll point him in your direction.

Indeed you do. Wasn't he in Wrong Turn...or was it The Hills Have Eyes?

Rick Okasik of the Cars, though I think I spelled the name wrong.

Lead singer of the Black Crowes is up there as well.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Totally forgot about him.
