Help a layman out here. Is Molly Knight being sued in her personal capacity? In other words, will she have to hire her own attorney if she is no longer working for The Athletic? If that's the deal, Bauer gets at least some of what he wants.

It sounds like the Deadspin case might be a bit more of a case. Bauer claims Deadspin posted the article with incorrect information that the Atletic had reported AFTER the Athletic had updated its story and removed that info.

The perils of aggregation and relying on someone else’s reporting.
