I always new that the newspaper business would somehow be involved.
This happened near the Herald.
"The horrific scene began about 2 p.m. Saturday when a series of gunshots were heard on the ramp, which is along Northeast 13th Street, just south of The Miami Herald building."

That's a hell of a second paragraph:

The man, whose name has not been released, was said to have suffered severe facial injuries from an attacker who witnesses said chewed at the victim’s face and eyes in the walkway on the west end of the causeway. Both men were naked.

This may be the victim:

Weird. That bridge is usually a safe place for a naked, 2 p.m. stroll.

I like how one of the witnesses mentioned that the incident was "one of the most gruesome" scenes he had ever encountered.

Really? Watching a deranged man chew the face off another man didn't automatically rocket up to first place? I'm glad I don't live in that witness' shoes.

My favorite part of the story:

Saturday, police theorized that the attacker might have suffered from “cocaine psychosis,” a drug-induced craze that bakes the body internally and often leads those it affects to strip naked to try to cool off.

"Cocaine psychosis" eh? Doesn't that sound exactly like something the government would say to avoid zombie mass hysteria?
Don't believe it. Board up your houses people and start watching The Walking Dead...

That's probably because he's another of the horde ...

And though it may have happened in Miami, others elsewhere weighed in.

Sean Newell wrote on the popular sports blog, Deadspin: “This kind of crazy only happens in Florida.”

What, exactly, does this add to the story?

Well, if it's true, it tells us all to stay out of Florida.

Yeah, stuff like this definitely happens in Los Angeles and New York. Who's got next?

Holy Moly. California takes the lead in Zombie 2012.

New York, you're on the clock.

Except that California story is from 2010.

Until Chilly Billy reports from the scene, I am calling this a false alarm.

These guys were both naked when going into zombie mode. Perhaps the movies have screwed up by depicting clothed zombies.
