In the spirit of Michael Lewis, the best of the apse's non-roster non-invitees. starting with the columnists, as they're easier to identify:

mitch albom, mike lupica, dan shaughnessy, geoff caulkins, mike vaccaro, gary shelton, ian o'connor, rick morrissey, harvey araton, scott ostler.

that's not a bad 10, though i'm sure i'm missing at least a dozen others...

And I'm sure they're all very upset as they cash their paychecks -- or check their bank accouonts for direct deposit -- today.
 
Lupica should put together a travel team of the non-winners and do a promotional tour
 
He could have a bus like the And-1 tour. Columnists could fight for spots in each city and you could lose your spot on the bus at any stop.
