Student Loan Consolidation/Refinancing

My wife has a ****-ton of student loan debt, and I'm trying to figure out a way to make it more manageable. Have any of you used SoFi or DRB? My wife gets monthly solicitations from them both about signing up to get lower interest rates. Lower rates would be good, but I don't know the reputation of these organizations and I'd be interested in hearing any success or horror stories.

Another problem is that she's not working so I would have to co-sign the new loan(s). Thoughts?
