Stiffed by IIHF

I did some freelance work for the International Ice Hockey Federation last November and still haven't been paid. It's a real shame. You don't expect this from what should be a reputable sports federation. When I asked for an explanation they just gave me some bizarre excuse about "restructuring"

You're joining us when it is the middle of the night in North America.
So, without revealing a lot of details, are you in Europe, by chance? If so, do not disclose the nation.
A lot of talented people here, and smarter than I am, will be at your disposal.
FWIW, I've never considered the IIHF reputable.

thanks for your comments. I had done work for them previously and everything went smoothly but then they made some changes in personnel.
it's not a big deal for me financially as I have other work but its just the principle. I'm based in an Asian country where payment is always fulfilled.

finally got paid on this. it took four months. I think it might be a cultural thing. Where i live payment is always prompt. maybe more relaxed in other parts of the world

Spitballing that you worked with some people in the Netherlands. I was warned to go through third party editorial companies for anything to do with IIHF. The pay was not great, but they were prompt and dependable.
