I've heard Bill Walton say some dumb **** before, but his latest ESPN column (title: "Steve Nash is like Bill Russell") is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

Comparing Steve Nash to Bill Russell is like comparing Bill Walton to my dog. Not sure which one is smarter.

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

Yeah it's been on there for a while and I refused to even read it. I can't believe ESPN let that article go by like that.

They both played college ball in schools that are now in the WCC?
 
In order for this analogy to fly, Nash needs to stop signing autographs. That, and 11 NBA rings and three more MVP awards.

Well, sure they're alike.

If you throw out the defense, rebounding, championships and the fact that Nash can't make it through an entire season without getting hurt.
