St. Louis TV station apologizes for showing Mike Brown officer's home

I'm torn. On the one hand, it's not like it would take a ton of detective work to have found out where the officer lived for anyone who wanted to cause him harm. On the other, it's possible that this will only contribute to the problems there.

The apology seems like a case of too little, too late. If you felt it was a mistake to show it, simply don't show it again. No need to make a big production of that decision though.

WaPo named the town he lived in, and the street he lived on.

CNN showed his house and street.

He's not there, because there have already been death threats. Still seems unnecessary.
