I usually click on sportspages.com first thing to browse whatever sports sections I want to see from around the country.
Today I get redirected to a network solutions site with a message that says "This domain name expired on 6/23/06 and is pending renewal or deletion"

Anybody know what's going on?

Sounds like somebody didnt pay the bills.... (And if you haven't contributed to Webby's cause lately, please click on the donate button at the top so the same thing doesnt happen to us...)

I saw that too. Hope it's a temporary glitch, because that would be really sad.

And echoing Slappy's post....Webby pays for our playground with the zero money he makes off the site. Help the guy out if you can.

This post or the porn name post?

SP.com appears to be back.

Darn, I was just about to place a back-order purchase on the domain name and give it to webby for a present.

Webby might make a lot more money if we all switched to porn names. Just sayin.

Some of the sportspages management team have visited here before - perhaps they'll stop by again and update us.  It's a terrific site for a quick and easy catchup on pages around the country.

Keep in mind we sometimes "disappear" too when there are server issues.  With the exception of the long break way back when (21, I won't tell the story - you've paid your debt to society), we're usually back up and running pretty quickly.

It was a glitch. Give me another chance. I know I can do this job.

One simple thing. ONE SIMPLE THING. But nooooooooooooooooooooo. No savit and we're gone for NINETEEN DAYS.

It got to where sportspages.com was giving updates on US.

It was only 19 days?? We wrecked 38 other innocent fallout shelterswebsites in only 19 days? Hmm. Impressive.

It was 19 days because your beloved Webby was on vacation! That and it was an awful crash... just awful.

SP.com is working fine... would hate to see it go away. Rich Johnson is a classy guy.

And yes, donations are always appreciated... it's been awhile since we've gotten any (donations that is).

Had to bring this back because despite a few of you saying sportspages is fine, I am now getting a site under cnstruction...coming soon message.
I've tried for 2 days from home, from work, on my girl friend's laptop and keep getting the same stuff.
Obviously, sportspages is NOT working fine.

If you type "sportspages.com" without "www" you do get the under construction thing. But it comes up fine otherwise, as you'll see when you hit 21's link.

clicked the link, got this:

This Site Is Under Construction and Coming Soon.

clicked my bookmark, got the same thing... as I had this monring and from work toinight

typed www.sportspages.com in address bar, got the same thing

very strange.

Wild. Unless it's your cache, I don't have any suggestions. For what it's worth, my Mac went directly to the site when I clicked spnited's link.

Try another browser, if you have two, and see what happens.
