Surprised to see Bob (or Doug?) wears glasses at launch.

Friend who works at SpaceX says they are hosting a huge BBQ at the plant in LA at the moment. '

Fingers crossed.

I've been watching this most of the afternoon thanks to crappy weather. Thanks, Bertha.
Anyway, I'm as interested in seeing them land the delivery rocket on a ship in the Atlantic as anything.
I hope everything goes well.

I really hope if rain scrubs today's launch they air it when it's rescheduled. This has been a nice diversion - even if Elon Musk is involved.

Also, Adam Savage of MythBusters is just so delightfully geeked up over this. I wish he was hosting the whole thing.

"You're about to face a vacuum, extreme variations in temperature, possible small meteor impacts and at least six kinds of intense radiation!"

---"No problem. We got this."

"Hey look, it's raining."

---"Oh, ****!"

It would be torture for me to be in a space capsule. If I sat there for 4-5-6 hours, and then they pull the plug, I'd probably have some kind of psychotic episode before they got me out of there.

I hope today's rocket blows up before the astronauts or anybody else arrives. This is nothing more than theatre that Trump will use as a metaphor for recovery.
