Is it appropriate to cover high school spring sports in shorts?
I Digress said:Yes. Nice shorts. Long ones. Decent shirt. NO FLIP FLOPS. No one wants to see your man toes.

jps said:come on now, waylon - you haven't seen one or two of these threads around before? I say that with no jab intended, but, really. it's as constant as a college kid getting on here and asking about what we think about getting a journalism degree.

Oh, I've seen the clothing threads, and even lambasted people for wanting to dress like hobos to cover things, because "it's just sports." Probably even been accused several times of taking myself too seriously.
But in this case I'm specifically wondering: High school event. Temperature soaring. Shorts.
Appropriate?
