Mitt Romney's Chappaquiddick. Romney puts Seamus on the rooftop of his station wagon for a 12-hour drive to Ontario. Dog craps himself in transit, and Mitt hoses down the poo and drives on. Family later says the dog was fine, enjoyed the whole experience, and what's more, lived to a ripe old age. Turns out though, allegedly, the dog escaped and ran away before the return trip. If true, this would seem to make Mitt (circle all that apply) 1) an animal abuser, 2) a poor planner, 3) a man with horrible judgment, 4) an unsympathetic asshole, and 5) a liar.

I have no idea how I missed this story when it came out years ago. But my god.
