Scalping laws ... updated

Just a quick question. I'm headed to a baseball game this weekend in Pittsburgh. I bought the tickets in advance, and due to cancellations, I suddenly find myself with three extras.
As I understand it, you can re-sell the tickets as long as you don't sell them for above face value. But that's my understanding, and I don't want to be arrested if my understanding differs from reality. Can anyone verify this for me?

It depends. Is it for Saturday night's game? As long as the weather is nice, those are usually pretty full and you could probably get someone to buy the tickets.

Not many. But because the park is so nice and tickets are pretty cheap they can still draw good crowds on weekend nights.

You're fine if you sell them at face value. You're also fine if you sell them for, say, $2 less than face value, meaning you lose $6 on the day instead of much more and someone will certainly want them.

Not many. But because the park is so nice and tickets are pretty cheap they can still draw good crowds on weekend nights.

I don't know - seems like a lot of good seats available for less than $30 per. does not seem over valued to me.

You would be surprised how often people just arrive at a game they know is not sold out looking to buy tickets. I do it myself in almost every city I visit for business. I almost always purchase my tickets from someone like yourself instead of the ticket office.

There is only one level of tickets priced more than $30 in the entire ballpark...$47 is the top price.
This is Pittsburgh, boom, not New York.

I went to the grocery store the other day and forgot that I had left a pair of Pirates tickets on the dash of my car. I came out of the store to discover that someone had smashed out my window and left a pair of tickets next to my pair.
