No DB here, I hope. He was under-rated actor who, after "Gilligan," did a lot of voiceover work. RIP

I thought you were talking about the guy who played with Hot Sauce.

Quick, what was The Professor's actual name (the character, not the actor)? And no checking IMDB!

Bonus points if you know the Skipper's name, too.

Arrgh! Never mind, I just noticed it's in the linked story!

Oh, well, contest is still on for the Skipper's name.

The Professor was Roy Hinkley (I actually read it in the obit before I came here.)

The Skipper, I believe, was Jonas Grumby.

This is correct.

My favorite of the cast.

Not as long as Mary Ann had those short shorts.

RIP one-half of And The Rest.

I met and interviewed Dawn Wells when she signed autographs at a baseball game a couple years back. She said that as a running joke, she/Johnson/Tina Louise, when corresponding with one another, sign off by not signing their name, but simply, "the rest."

But Tina Louise wasn't one of "...and the rest."

Oh, hell, here's some trivia ... at what institution of higher education did The Professor take his PhD?

The man could turn a coconut and a little bamboo into anything.

RIP.
