RIP Norman Jewison

Can't think of too many directors who had the success and impact he had as a director who never won an Oscar. They did give him the Thalberg award several years ago though. Talk about someone who couldn't be typecast. Comedies, musicals, dramas, etc.

Damn shame. "In the Heat of the Night" is an awesome, landmark movie.
