It would be coolly subversive if Simon & Garfunkel recorded "Mrs. Robinson" about "Lost In Space" instead of the "The Graduate".

I watched "Lost In Space" re-runs regularly when I was young. Hadn't seen it in at least 40 years when I caught an episode on Pluto or some streaming ****.

Some 1960s shows age well if you can get beyond the trappings of the time. "Lost In Space" does not, but it's harmless anyway.

Why they never torpedoed Dr. Smith into the cold void of space is beyond me.
