Something didn't add up with Amber Heard filing for divorce three days after Depp's mother died. Now it does. These are some ugly allegations and the photo is pretty damning. Certainly looks like the shape of an iphone, which she is alleging he used to hit her in the face.

Obviously you never know people -- much less celebrities -- as well as you might think, but Depp never struck me as the type to be an abuser. Seems so out of character from how he carries himself and comes across. Just an awful story and it seems like it's gonna be a bitter, protracted divorce.

Maybe I'm being overly skeptical (I don't have any feelings either way re: Depp, BTW). It's just that there have been so many of these things (not necessarily in the realm of domestic violence) in which we find that the evidence has been manufactured.
