No real surprises, except I wonder about Taylor Swift being ahead of Carrie Underwood, who isn't on the list.

Not surprising at all. She's sold more albums and more singles than Carrie has, she gets far more pop radio airplay and she gets publishing royalties because she writes all of her own songs, unlike Carrie, whose writing efforts have been sporadic.
