I guess this qualifies as a Poin File entry even though it's not a teacher. The mayor of DeRidder, Louisiana, was arrested on charges of third-degree rape and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
Nothing I've found has said the age of the juveniles, but from the description of the facts of the case it seems likely they were teenagers.
And in case you were wondering, DeRidder is a town of about 10,000 in southwestern Louisiana, in the no-man's land between Lake Charles and Shreveport.

Thought everyone knew about DeRidder Louisiana.

DeRidder was named for Ella de Ridder, the sister-in-law of a Dutch railroad financier, Jan de Goeijen (cf. De Queen, Arkansas).[8] Her family originally came from the small town of Geldermalsen in the Netherlands, where she was one of 13 children. She ran away from home at an early age and was presumed dead by her family, who only later discovered that she had traveled to the United States. The town was named for her by her brother-in-law, who brought the first railroad to that area of Louisiana. Prior to that, the little town was known as Schovall. The first train line to serve DeRidder came in 1897. It was the Pittsburgh & Gulf Railroad, later called the Kansas City Southern.

The July 26, 1924, the DeRidder Enterprise stated: "The first house in DeRidder was made of logs and covered with board shingles, split by hand from the logs of the forest. It was constructed in 1893 and was the old homestead house of Calvin Shirley, who was the original owner of the land upon which the first business house and residence of DeRidder were built. Mr. Shirley homesteaded the 160 acres (0.65 km2) which was later platted and became the original townsite of DeRidder."

Looks like Kay Lenz's or Sondra Locke's daughter.

Deridder is actually a nice little southern town. It sits about 10 miles south of Ft. Johnson, where I was stationed for two years. Nice little restaurants and better housing options than most of the surrounding area. Incredible baseball town. South Beauregard High School is a perennial baseball title contender.

It's southwest Louisiana, for sure.

There’s a part of me that thinks women grow into the names that they’re given. Has anyone ever seen a Misty that was less than a six? Or a ,Candy?

IDK … I’d give her at least a 6.5.

I thought that also... mostly still do but for an exception in my own family. My sister's nickname is Kitty, real name Catherine, but always known as Kitty. Rose to really high ranks in a corporate environment. I asked her about it and she said there wasn't much push back from men, but heard wives were "Oh, so you're meeting with "Kitty"...

Has she considered changing her name from Kitty to Karen?
