Anyone watching this?

I don't know if it's because I'm watching it on HD or because the footage is so amazing, but this is some great stuff.

The shark footage was just...wow.

You can already tell the series is going to be animal-chase-to-the-death heavy. But I'll watch every bit of it.

I haven't seen any of the series, and I forgot to DVR it tonight. I'll get it on a rerun.
This is one of the few instances in which I can understand the value of HDTV.

Reruns will be on the Science Channel tomorrow, and on Earth Day, 4/22, the marathon from 9a to midnight.

Watching the wild dogs hunt Impala was amazing. They practically broke it down like Jaws breaking down game film. And the dogs, I'm convinced, could have out-gameplanned Bill Belichick.

Amazing, my HD is only 27 inches and I wish I had gone for the 42 incher.

Sadly, there's no footage of Sigourney Weaver in the voiceover booth. That's the only thing missing.

If they put this out on DVD, these guys will make mejor bank.

Which channel? Do you mean Discovery Science?

It's on Discovery.
I don't know if the reruns are playing on Discovery Science or The Science Channel.

Just got the DVD out that ran in either Time or SI last week and it's amazing. Have to wait until I'm done writing and watch it with the dog and see how she watches the screen...
Is that Sigourney Weaver narrating?

Thanks. I'll check this out. Love my HDTV for this stuff.

So are there just going to be three hour-long episodes — how the seasons effects different regions around the world, mountains and oceans?

No it's like 11 hours.

I have to edit it for Ms. Slappy... earth stuff, she'd be fine -- animals eating animals, not so much
