the woman who hit Roethlisberger has received "numerous threats" and those threats are being dealt with. He said she has also filed criminal complaints as a result of those threats.

Pittsburgh is perhaps the craziest place in the universe.

Good for her.. she might not beable to see behind the wheel of the car, but she shouldn't ahve to take this crap from dumbass fanboys and girls...

ummm, this isn't exclusive to Pittsburgh.

I can guarantee this would happen in Boston with Brady, in Miami with Wade, in L.A. with Kobe, Dallas with T.O. or Dirk and in Salt Lake City with Andrei Kirilenko.

Crazy fans are in EVERY city.

Idaho-

I agree. But only to a point.

If you've never lived in Pittsburgh, it is difficult to understand the way people act in the city with anything involving football. For example, they just broke into Regis & Kelly and all the other bull**** shows (that get huge ratings) to carry the mundane news conference of an accident investigation officer live. That sort of sums it up for me.

While people would be pissed in a lot of cities and possibly threaten the woman driver, Pittsburgh is over-the-top on all things football.

How about San Francisco with Bonds?

As I stated in the original crash thread, I knew this would happen.

Nothing illustrates that more than the World Cup, where a missed PK might lead to a execution.

All that needs to happen is for Roethlisberger to issue a statement saying, in essence, you're being stupid, knock it off.
And it will if he does.

How'd you like his agent starting the "he'd come back to save the day if asked" story?
1st the kids and wife being harassed (which turned out to be a blatant lie), now this.
I think time for Tommy to look elsewhere for representation.

I can't imagine too many other agents are beating down Maddox's door these days.
