I hope that Ohio State kid reads the story, sees that government officials are looking for the victim and files a report. No excuse to ever behave like that.

And yet, it's nothing compared to teh crap that goes on in Columbus when Michigan is in town...

Fans of Penn State fans have been going downhill for quite some time and that's from a fan and an alum.

This is one of those rare instances in life when you should be able to fire a handgun full of blanks into the air just to see a swarm of frat brothers crap their $120 pair of Luckys and scatter like the true cowards they really are.

There are many dumbasses in this video.

A) The mob.
B) The guy videotaping.
C) The people throwing ****.
D) The guy who assaults the Buckeye.
E) The dickhead who wears his colors to an opposing team's party. You just don't do that.

That's definately at a frat too. I recognized it.

I'm breaking my SJ silence to say you're a ****ing moron for option E.

Of course this is the same area where that teacher in Steelers country threw **** at a student dressed in a Bronco jersey a few years back, so I guess I shouldn't be shocked.

That's bull****. Nothing in this clip indicates the guy was doing anything more than walking through in an OSU jersey. And there's nothing inherently dickheaded about wearing your team's colors on a trip to an away game. At most campuses not infested with the spawn of Eagles fans that would get nothing more than good-natured ribbing, and at a few (like Ole Miss) it would invite outright hospitality.

Just checking, but these are fans of the (3-3, 6-3) Penn State Nittany Lions (who haven't won a national championship in 21 years) making fun of fans of the (5-0, 9-0, No. 1 in BCS and AP poll) Ohio State Buckeyes, who were in the national championship last season?

Just checking.

This identical scene would have happened at any campus in the country. Trying to pinpoint it as a geographical problem or unique to once set of fans over another is more idiotic than the behavior itself.

OK, let's leave Eagles fans out of this ... these were Penn State fans ... not necessarily the same.

So are you saying that Oregon fans couldn't make fun of USC fans? Just asking.

And the lack of a national title the past 21 years is not completely Penn State's fault -- they did go undefeated in 1994.

God, I hate it when this stuff happens. It happens all the time in colleges and high schools. And yes, alcohol is usually involved ::)

Alcohol or not, those ****s are probably douchebags no matter the situation.

There is nothing wrong with wearing your team's colors. Nothing. It's called pride. You don't tuck your pride between your legs simply because of what someone might think or say. He, presumably, didn't provoke anything. And I'm glad they have it on video. Documented douchebagery is usually helpful in doling down punishments.

Someone hits me with a beer can from about four feet, I'm grabbing his ass and throwing him in the woods.

And then getting the **** outta there before the rest of his douchebag friends come after me.

The Florida fans who poured urine on Phil Fulmer's wife thinks the fans in State College are too controlled... ;D
