Let's hope Spain doesn't stand for the rest of the continent.

So that's something I have going for me.

Let's hope that Spain doesn't rush to its neighbors and say "Oh My God, Osama is pissed. Let's straighten up and stay safe. Be afraid friends, be very afraid."

I hate to feed the troll (who should, by all rights, have been banned for his antics when Kerry and Hagel's helicopter made an emergency landing a few weeks back), but it's well-known that a key reason that Spanish voters kicked out the ruling party in March 2004 was that said party tried to blame the Madrid bombings on ETA even as evidence of al-Qaeda's involvement mounted. The country had just been attacked, and the government was lying about the perpetrators for political reasons. The bastards deserved to be voted out.

Now go back to blaming the Taliban for snowstorms, asshole.

At what point does anyone wonder if bin Laden just likes to see himself on TV?

Just askin'.

So what does everyone think about the Valencia-Barcelona matchup in tonight's King's Cup. I've always been a Valencia fan for some reason and would love to see them make it to the final. Koeman has severely screwed with team morale/chemistry but if they make it past Barcelona (w/ a healthy Ronaldinho saying he'll play) they'll take something positive out of this season.

I think they have to start with Joaquin on the right wing. He'll cause problems for Barca's leaky defense. Put Vicente on the other side and let Silva sit in the hole behind Villa.

Thoughts?

solid.

Should we continue accepting as fact the notion that OBL is alive? Were I writing this story, I would have said, "a message attributed to Osama bin Laden," rather than "bin Laden sent a message ..."

Until I read this post I thought we were talking about Obama and I was wondering why.
