He's looking at a minimum of 25 years. He's 61 now. He sure looked defeated when they read the verdicts. I won't miss reading about him. The Goldmans too. I appreciate their loss, but their publishing of If I Did It, was pretty sleazy.

I dunno. If he's sent away for an exceedingly long time, whatever assets he does have could be seized and sold. Or maybe not. I'm not sure exactly how that works.

I only know the basics about this case, but I have to think the jury was influenced by outside forces. Usually I'd have a problem with that. Not now.

O.J. was in tears. I was enraged by the way he looked at the jury once his first guilty verdict was read---as if to say, "how dare you convict me!". He's always acted like a smug SOB who has always played the victim, which makes it much easier for me to root for this scumbag to die in jail.

That's definitely the sense I get. Too much shady **** going on this trial; something doesn't smell right.

There will be appeals. This isn't over yet.

No, he won't be free. He'll be in jail for many years. Life? Maybe, depending on how long he's still breathing.

But I would bet a lot of Monopoly money that some of those charges get overturned. Too many holes in the case -- especially those tapes of the crime-scene investigators laughing.

So OJ gets off when the evidence is overwhelmingly against him, and gets convicted on an extremely shaky, perhaps shady case. The justice system...at work? A bit like Capone finally getting nailed for tax evasion.
