They spelled DaJuan Summers's name wrong on the cover of their most recent issue.

They also had something wrong about Tennessee, saying there were six teams from the state in the tourney (Vandy, Memphis, Tenn men and women, Belmont and Austin Peay). Guess the Vandy women, a four seed I believe, don't count.

What tournament is that?

Chattanooga and ETSU women are playing, too.

Also, they've done this cover every year for like four or five years. It was cool the first couple of times. Now? Kinda trite.

Stupid copy editors. I always knew they were all worthless.

I think this is the first year they did it with the horse**** regional covers, deceiving someone into thinking, "Hey, there's something on DaJuan Summers (or Lofton, or Rush, or Lavender, or Adrien) in this issue."

New rule: The cover subject has to have his name mentioned SOMEWHERE in the issue.

I was wondering why, of all people, they put him on the cover.

Now I know it's regionalized. Thank goodness.

Yeah, I think those covers have been regionalized for at least the last couple years.

But still, my question stands: why DaJuan Summers? Wouldn't Hibbert have been a more logical choice if they wanted to go with a Georgetown guy?

All reasons why I didn't renew my SI sub last year. I bought the Favre issue off the newstand expecting that retirement story to have substance. It didn't. Never buying the mag again.

Unless I missed it, I couldn't find the key to who everyone is on the front. I know you can get it online, but if I wanted to read the mag online, I wouldn't have sprung for the subscription.

Minor complaint, but aggravating nonetheless.

And while I don't mind Selena Roberts on the inside back cover, there are many more columnists I enjoy more. She's nowhere close to a must read.

If you want a Favre story with substance, read the huge Sportsman of the Year piece SI did on him a couple months ago. In their defense, it's hard to come up with another meaty piece on him so soon after that one.
