I got a new (charcoal) grill for Father's Day and spent tonight "curing" the cast-iron grill components. Tomorrow night, actual grilling for the people who gave me the grill -- the wife and stepdaughters.

I felt bad for the dog, though, who had patiently waited all evening for me to cook something, so I grilled us a couple of ballpark franks 'round midnight.

good times.

Finish on it yet?

You know, I knew we would get there ... just thought it might not be until the second page.

You should have started the thread earlier in the day, then. Maybe that would have helped.

I wish I had started the "curing" project a lot earlier, for sure. Took about four hours.

I thought this thread wouldn't be about BBQ.

I thought this tread would be about a wife/girlfriend/significant other getting bolt-ons.
