Excuse my ignorance. I know that DB indicates a thread that has already been started. But what does DB actually stand for. (I'm guessing my post is DB.)

A poster named Deep Background--DB--who has had a penchant for coming on here and posting links to stories that are weeks old and already had threads with several pages of discussion.

Weinreb's one of the good 'uns. His Len Bias story a few years back - http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page=bias - was smart and nuanced and everything ESPN.com usually isn't.
