I remember an interview with an actress who starred in a Hallmark Christmas movie. She said they filmed in July. She was sweating like crazy and had to keep drinking water to stay hydrated, thus many pee breaks. They had to wear ski jackets and layers of clothes even though it was 90 degrees.

Our paper does a bi-monthly magazine that always includes a feature on someone's house — its history, architecture, decorating, etc. For the November/December edition we often try to do the story a year in advance because we want to take photos of the house decorated for Christmas, but that edition goes to press in late October before anyone has their decorations put up. Just gotta hope the place doesn't burn down in the meantime.

I walked into the office one late-summer day and saw a Christmas tree up in advertising. Asked one of the ad reps what the story was and she said it was to remind them businesses were making their decisions on how to spend ad money on Christmas then.
