What's mediaite?

I don't know. Right now I am trying to figure if it has too many or too few vowels.

Thought it was "Mediate ranks the sports bloggers"...didn't know Rocco cared.

In true BLOG! fashion, there's not a list on the link. And while there are nine different links on the article, all of them link you to some other blogger's Twitter feed which has some sort of hieroglyphics list on it.

The actual link is more here, as it starts with The Wild Cards and goes on from there.

So I was disappointed when I realized it wasn't golfer Rocco Mediate ranking his favorite writers and bloggers. Thought someone must have misspelled his name in the thread title.

I'm sure Keith Olbermann will put Dan Abrams on his Worst Person in the World for not including his baseball blog. Abrams started Mediaite and KO and him have some history. Though what the root of it is a mystery. It appears to be entirely a one way hate fest on KO's part.

Read the first few pages...is it bad that I dont know more than half of these guys?

No, Paper Guy. If you were Blogger Guy or Tweet Guy, you should be embarrassed.

In addition, he’s still a frequent contributor to Deadspin (witness this new Roger Ebert piece, one of the best Leitch has ever written),

With that quote and who is #1, I have to imagine this list wont be very popular here...

Oh, well, after seeing the Daly twitter crap yesterday I thought for a second this was Rocco Mediate ranking the writers, as someone else said. Not even going to read any further, I'll just mosey along ...

My dog, Harry, is ranking his favorite bloggers and twits, too. I'll post them tomorrow.

So the moral of this list is that if Joe Posnanski works very hard and sharpens his wit a little more, he can one day reach the level of Bill Simmons or A.J. Daulerio. Good lesson.

The newspaper holds him back.
